Mad On Radium launch

Last Wednesday Unity Books Wellington hosted the excitingly-radioactive launch of Mad On Radium. For the author, Rebecca Priestley, it was a joyful closure of what was an exhausting PhD adventure spanning almost a decade. The book explores ‘the forgotten world of nuclear New Zealand, and the origins of our nuclear-free identity’ and it, appropriately, glows in the dark!
