Sunday Times journalist to advise Man Booker

Peter Kemp, the Sunday Times fiction editor, has joined the Man Booker advisory committee.
The committee advises on all matters relating to the prize, particularly the selection of judges and the award's rules. Kemp has been fiction editor of the Sunday Times for the past 14 years and written for the paper for 25 years.
The longlist for this year's prize will be announced on 28th July. Following the announcement of 'The Booker Dozen', the 12 or 13 titles under serious consideration for the prize, the final shortlist of six books will be announced on 8th September.
The winner will be announced live on the BBC Ten O’Clock News at an awards dinner at London’s Guildhall on Tuesday 6th October.
